Artificial Intelligence and Research Division is leading Microsoft’s effort to
democratize artificial intelligence. We are working to build deep intelligence
into the products that millions of people use every day including Windows,
Office, Bing and Cortana. We are passionate about applying machine learning
expertise across a broad range of domains.

We have a few positions for summer internship in a joint program between
Microsoft Research and the Artificial Intelligence for Office group (both are
part of the Artificial Intelligence and Research Division). We are looking for
talented graduate students working on natural language processing, machine
learning, knowledge discovery and mining, and information retrieval. As an
intern in this program, you will be jointly mentored by a researcher from
Microsoft Research and an applied scientist from AI for Office, and work as part
of a team that brings together talent in the areas of machine learning, natural
language processing, information retrieval, software engineering, and
trustworthy computing. You will work with them to develop cutting edge
technology with a focus on the application to real world problems. By analyzing
and learning from massive data, you will improve the lives and work of users
around the globe by making daily tasks faster, easier and more delightful.
