To support our continued growth, Interactions is hiring an Artificial
Intelligence (AI) Engineer – Dialog, in collaboration with an
interdisciplinary team, is responsible for developing innovative AI-driven
technologies and products to drive a new generation of interactive virtual
assistants. The AI Engineer collaborates on the design and development of core
technologies enabling free-flowing natural conversation with multimodal
interactive systems. The AI engineer must maintain awareness of ongoing
technological developments in the field and assist with the transition/transfer
of AI products and solutions across programs/projects.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team on the design of cutting-edge
technologies and components combining knowledge-based techniques and machine
learning to enable rich conversational interaction.
Implement core conversational AI engine.
Collaborate with team members to build innovative interactive multimodal
virtual assistant services
Estimated travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications
Required
Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, linguistics, or a related
field.
Minimum four to five years experience.
Strong background in software development with extensive experience in at
least one major programming language.
Experience artificial intelligence with specific emphasis in two or more of
the following areas:
Knowledge-based dialog management.
Application of machine learning (reinforcement learning, deep learning)
to dialog.
Interaction management for multimodal interfaces.
Preferred
PhD in computer science, engineering, linguistics, or a related field.
Experience in the development and deployment of spoken, textual, or
multimodal interactive systems.
Python, C++, Linux/Unix Scripting.
Experience with deep-learning tools and libraries (e.g. Keras, Tensorflow,
Theano).
