| More Information: | Our team at Amazon Alexa Speech has multiple internship openings for 2022 in the
areas of deep learning and on-device ML with applications to audio and speech
processing. Our current openings are for students enrolled in their PhD programs
and we also consider Master's Students with strong background. Our team owns
on-device modeling techniques for keyword spotting and wake word detection for
all Alexa-enabled devices and services, with a focus on optimizing on-device ML
model performance across accuracy, latency, model size constraint, and runtime
memory footprint. As an intern in the Alexa Speech Team, you will have the
opportunities to work on areas including but not limited to efficient on-device
model architectures for streaming keyword spotting, self-supervised speech
representation learning, model robustness under challenging environment
conditions, model compression/ pruning techniques, AutoML, and federated
