I was just meeting with folks from VoiceBox Technologies
(voicebox.com). They are working on speech-based applications
for handheld and other devices, across a wide range of domains
(directions, stocks/weather/etc, music, etc).
They're looking for people to work on the grammars used by
the ASR systems, as well as other possible projects.
For those of you who are interested in speech AND things like
QA, this might be a very nice combination.
My contact there is Michael Tjalve. If there's enough interest,
it might be worthwhile to set up a meeting where they can come
over and talk with us about possible projects.
