At Wordnik, we\'re working on fun problems. Wordnik R&D uses empirical
methods to extend and improve our Word Graph, and we employ
statistical, machine-learning, and deep-learning methods to exploit
that prior knowledge for the modeling of text. We are a coding shop;
developers in addition to researchers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- named entity recognition and resolution
- document similarity search (auto-encoders, similarity hashing)
- topic modeling
- auto-summarization
- information extraction
- idiom identification
- sequence alignment
- sentiment analysis
- distributional semantic modeling
- word sense induction and disambiguation
Desired Skills & Experience:
- software engineering, especially in working with large data
- machine learning
- experience with statistics, information theory, and probability theory
- strong linguistic intuitions
