This is a technical management position requiring extensive knowledge of natural
language processing with strong development and leadership skills. The position
has a leading role in the further advancement of the patented LifeCode engine,
computerized coding and abstraction software that utilizes state-of-the-art
Natural Language Processing (NLP). Will be responsible for the personnel
management for a team of NLP focused Research Linguists along with planning,
designing, implementing, testing and documenting software modules and linguistic
knowledge bases for the LifeCode engine. Will apply various techniques from
computational linguistics and computer science to develop and improve software
modules that perform morphological analysis, tokenization, parsing, and semantic
analysis.
Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience designing and implementing
NLP technology along with 4 years of management or project leadership
experience. Working knowledge of computational linguistics is also required
along with experience with Perl, Python or other scripting language.
